COLOMBO (News 1st) – Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy states that the water levels of reservoirs in the areas where hydropower plants are located are at a low level. Spokesperson to the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy, Sulakshana Jayawardena noted that hydro-power generation has been further minimized due to this.
