Colombo (News 1st): Parliament aims to install a new Budget Office dedicated to studying the Budget in a more streamlined manner. Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri said the objective of this is to control the government’s expenditure. He went on to note the Budget Office will function as an independent body.
