COLOMBO (News 1st) – President Maithripala Sirisena has issued a special gazette notification declaring the Pol-ela Modara in Madampe and Thathkalakudi mangrove ecosystems in the Puttlam district as reserves. The mangrove reserves are 52 hectares in size.
