A maximum of Rs 40,000 for an acre of flooded farmlands

COLOMBO (News 1st) – Sri Lanka’s Agricultural & Agrarian Insurance Board announced that more than 11,681 acres of farmlands were destroyed by floods caused by torrential rainfall.
