Colombo (News 1st): An inmate has been injured during a shooting that occurred in the Wariyapola prison. Commissioner General of Prisons, Jayasiri Tennakoon said that an inmate had been shot by another. The injured inmate has been admitted to the Wariyapola hospital for treatments. The Wariyapola Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
