Over 231,000 in distress due to prolonged drought

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The drought conditions that have impacted more than five districts around the country and have left over 231,000 people in distress. Assistant Director at the Disaster Management Centre, Janaka Handunpathiraja says that this includes 55,213 families.
