Sri Lanka’s rupee slide continues

COLOMBO (News1st): Sri Lanka’s rupee further depreciated by nearly three percent against the US dollar recording one of the biggest single day depreciation, central bank data showed on Monday. The selling rate of the rupee which was recorded at Rs 193.75 on Friday slid to Rs 199.40 today, according to the central bank.
