COLOMBO (News1st): The Ceylon Teachers Union staged a protest on Friday opposing moves to involve a foreign entity in managing the Colombo Port’s East Container Terminal. The protest was held opposite the building of the Ministry of Education in Battaramulla. The protesters distributed leaflets to apprise the public on the crisis.
