Sumatra earthquake will NOT affect Sri Lanka

Colombo (News 1st); The Magnitude 6.2 earthquake reported southwest of Sumatra, Indonesia will NOT affect Sri Lanka, said the Met. Department. An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 struck southwest of Sumatra, Indonesia, on Wednesday (Feb 10), the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said. The quake was at a depth of 30km, EMSC said.
