COLOMBO (News 1st): The import levy on a kilogram of big onions has been increased by Rs.40, Agriculture Minister Mahindananada Aluthgamage says. The Minister said this during the Cabinet press briefing held today (07). The decision was taken to ensure that local producers receive the relevant value for their products.
